This deep lavender sea glass triangle is a rare treasure found while beachcombing along the shores of Long Island Sound in CT. Lavender is an uncommon because lavender glass contains manganese, which ceased to be used in the production of glass in the early 1920s. When exposed to the sun, white glass turned lavender.
